Meet Mya
A Cumbrian creative on call
Mya McGuire is a visual and sculptural artist, with a Ba(Hons) in Fine Art from the University of Cumbria. Working as a freelance artist, her work mainly includes painting portraits and murals, or digitally designing.
Biography:
Before formally studying Art, Mya trained as a nurse for three years before realising what you're good at isn't always what fulfils you. Transferring to the universities Fine Art course enabled young Mya to learn the foundational theory to ground her natural love for image making. Her drawings turned to paintings turned to sculpture and finally murals show her passion for variety, exploration, and learning.
